Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability

NOTICE: By signing this Agreement, you relinquish your right to bring any claims or actions to recover any damages, losses or compensation against Freedom For Fido, Inc. and its members, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives (“Released Parties”), as a result of any injury to person or property arising out of or related to volunteer activities for the Organization.

I, “Volunteer” desire to work as a volunteer and engage in the activities related to being a volunteer with Freedom For Fido (FFF). I understand that the activities may include but not be limited to traveling to locations around the North GA area, constructing and repairing fencing and enclosures, and performing other construction-related activities. I hereby freely and voluntarily, without duress, execute this Agreement under the following terms:

Waiver and Release.

I, the Volunteer, release and forever discharge and hold harmless FFF and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims and demands of whatever kind or nature, wither in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from my work for FFF. I understand and acknowledge that this Agreement discharges FFF from any liability or claim that I the Volunteer, may have against FFF with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage that may result from my participation in the activities of FFF, whether caused by the negligence of FFF or its directors, officers, employees, or agents or otherwise. I also understand that FFF does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance, in the event of injury, illness, death or property damage.

Insurance and Medical Treatment.

I, the Volunteer, understand that the Organization does not carry or maintain health, medical or disability insurance coverage for any volunteer. I hereby release and forever discharge FFF from any claim whatsoever that arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with an emergency during my participation in the activities of FFF.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that my time with FFF will include activities that are inherently hazardous, including, but not limited to , construction, loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials, and local travel to and from the project sites. I hereby expressly and specifically assume the risk of injury or harm in these activities and release FFF from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from time with FFF.

Photographs/Video

I grant to Freedom For Fido, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of me, or in which I may be included, without my inspection or approval. I hereby release Freedom For Fido from all claims and liability relating to said photographs and videos.
Other.

I expressly agree that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by laws of the state of Georgia in the United States of America, and that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Georgia. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall continue to be enforceable.
